Tabulas Ok, I HAD to get a tabulas account. After I read dodo's entry about it being able to crosspost. I went for it! X3!!!! Yeah yeah yeah~ It's WAY better than LJ. Lots more features!!! I think I'll get my bf one too~ X3!!!

some of you may recognize the layout! Yes!! It's a remix of one of the new LJ styles! =D =D =D!!! I really liked the boxer layout, but it didn't have all the stuff I wanted to add in, like my links and all that. So I coded this layout by scratch. X_X Took a while, but it was worth it! this will also be better for my bandwidth at angelfire. X3 I may change LJ layout to this soon. X3

I like this place! I LIKE IT ALOT! The features here totally kickass. X3 I wish I found this place earlier.. then I wouldn't have bought an LJ account. Oh well. X3!!!

Anyway, I uploaded a picture of my camera~! My new one~ ^^ Hopefully, if I did this right, it will go to my gallery. X3

Omg, I got another project thrown at me today. I have to make a giant 3D model of a letter using the typography used in my time period. Oh joy. Projects I've gotten after 2 weeks, meaing 2 classes of 5 different classes:

Research Paper: 10-11 pages reseach paper that I will be working on for my book. (Topic: Baroque and Rococo)

Book Project: I'm gonna be constructing a REAL book (binding any all! X3) using a research paper I will be doing on my topic.

Proposal: I have to make a proposal booklet on what I will do with my book.

Design project: This is coming. o_o

Illustration project #1: I will drawing.. a vegetable, with at least 10 thumbnail concepts.

Photography: Taking about 70 pictures using shutter speed and aperture. Mostly shutter speed. Capturing movement.

History typography: Constructing a 3D model at least 20 inches tall of a letter using a type face used during my time period.

I've only been to each class 2 times. o_o o_o Graphic design is slowly sucking up my time... ._.

Colored Pencils I haven't used colored pencils in a long while. @_@ So today I decided to finish up a drawing I started. X3 Check it out HERE~

I'm gonna be doing my colored pencil work~ Just for practice~ It was fun. ^ ^

XD! Has anyone seen that Joe Schmo show? XD The one where this guy things he's on a real reality TV show, but he's not? Omg, it's funny. XD XD It's funny how the guy doesn't realize how fake it is! They ripped every reality TV show out there. XD Pwahaha, I can't wait til next episode. XD XD

Argh, I want a commission right now for a layout or something. XD I think I may be getting one! *crosses fingers so hard they break* XD I wanna buy a CD! O_O!!!!! Abandoned Pools! They did the theme for Clone High. X3 I dunno, I love their music.. CDs all the way people.. X3 Well, no, only CDs worth buying.

No school tomorrow~! X3! Tuesdays kick ass, I have no classes~! Yeah~ I should start working ahead on my projects though. Ehehe. ._.

New DA piece - It was supposed to be more goth than that, but I wanted it to be more suttle. X3 ! Oh well. X3

^.^v I think I got myself 2 commissions! *gets all giddy* I really needed the money! XD XD XD My bf bought the Abandoned pools CD I wanted, even though I told him NOT to get it. -_-' So I'll pay him back. X3

OoO, I'm tempted to download. XD I want the song "Weak and Powerless" by a perfect cirlcle. Eugh. X_x Can't.. download.. NOooOO! Oh well. Xp It's in my head right now. ^^;

Hmm I just got a commission offer from someone. He wanted me to do a full colored drawing of a bunch of girls at the beach doing beach things for a flyer. But he said he wanted it TOMORROW, and offered $30 for it. I just sat there and went "$30 for a CG that will probably take like 12 hours to do? Uh, what???" I don't know, I just felt so used and eugh. XD Even though I didn't even start yet. Most people will charge like $70 for a CG like that. I'm still learning what my prices should be..

I'm always worried that my prices may be too high, or too low. The more I work on things, and only get paid so little, the more I feel my prices are too low. I did a CG commission once, for this girl. I charged her $25 for it, cuz it was just a portrait image. But she made me do so many revisions, that $25 just didn't feel worth it.

Eugh, I'm still fighting with myself to decide on prices. That's why Pstudio is still closed. There have been a lot of people who told me my prices were way too low. I had one really great client who offered to give me $20 tip cuz I charged so low. ^^; She was so nice. X3

My CG price range is from $25-$60 depending on detail. While others charge from $25-100+ I charged vectors from $10 - $20, while other charge at starting price $25.

It doesn't help that most of my clients are younger than me, and they can't afford to pay for a CG that's $35. = I got a CG commission, that turned into a lineart commission cuz they didn't wanna pay the $35, so they paid the $15 instead. Oh well.

It's not worth doing so much work and getting so little for it.

¬_¬ This comment pissed me off.

How dare he say that fucking shit to me, when he knows absolutely nothing about this. I met him at DA and thought he was pretty nice when he wasn't commenting on how everything was wrong about my artwork. I don't mind constructive criticism, but he makes his comments sound like he knows EVERYTHING. The thing that pisses me off even more about his comments is that he doesn't draw any better than I do! X_x Sure anyone can point out obvious flaws, but he pointed out everything and anything he could find.

Fucking hell, I shouldve known better, he's from deviantart. DUH.

I just felt unappreciated. But he made it sounded like I felt I deserved hundreds of dollars for my artwork. If I felt that way, I would had my prices way beyond what they are now and just charge what everyone else is charging. Which is a fucking lot, even from those who can't draw as well.

Anyway, sorry for bitching like bitch about this. I hope didn't offend anyone, other than that one person. Honestly, it's like getting a comment from a fucking annoying kid who thinks he knows everything about math when he only knows 1+1 = 2.

OH, btw~! More junk art~! X3!!!

Photography Ee, I learned how to use my camera better today. XD XD Before I didn't know how to focus and it was annoying. @_@ but I found out that I had to adjust the end of the lens. I didn't know that before. I knew I could adjust the middle, and I thought the end was just part of it. XD

I have to finish taking shutter priority pictures. EEehh. I don't really wanna take shutter priority pics cuz I have to find moving objects. X3! So I'm gonna finish off one roll, and do the 2nd roll later. I wanna take composition shots. Those are more fun. X3

=( I wish I could be with my bf. He's having a really hard time right now. =( You can probably read more about it at his blog. If he blogs of course. =( He hasn't been in the mood to lately. u__u

Been having back pains lately. Probably due to sitting at the computer. I don't like being on the net that much. I only go on to talk to mr_beanbun. X3 I wish he were here.

I need some help Does anyone know at all, how Baroque and Rococo did their books? How they designed it, etc. If you know, please please tell me. I need all the help I can get. X_X Why didn't I get renaissance. I have a fucking chapter on how they did their books but only 2 pages on Rococo and none on baroque. X_x

For some reason, I'm the only person that knows nothing about this art period.

I am seriously hating this art period the more I try and look for it but end up getting another art period.

T. T OoO~ I still need to find how people made their books back in Baroque and Rococo. (Yes they did make books back then. Writing has been around for a HELL of a long time. o.o )

I can easily find info on this period, but NOTHING on how they bind books and designed them. This topic totally blows. >=0 It may be nice and pretty but they probably didn't make enough books to make it into history books. @_@!

This project is very uneven as what my bf said. Some topics are easier to look up than others. Such as, renaissance once again. Or Egyptian art, or Greek art. But imagine trying to look up cubism or supremetism. It's breeze for those who have the more well known topics, but it's hell for those who don't. @_@

*shoots her topic* If I had renaissance this project would be a fucking breeze.

Eh, I'm just getting kind of desperate here. My rough design proposal is due thursday and I've been looking and looking. But no luck. I don't need help looking up the art period itself. Just how they contructed and design books. So if anyone knows any links or books on this area of baroque and rococo, I'd really appreciate it~ ^^!

Busy busy I have alot of projects due soon. @_@ The weeks by so fast. @_@! OMg.. So I haven't been doing alot of email. If you don't get replies from me (unless you're a client or if it's super important), cuz it's I've been busy. @_@ I had to close my email form. I was getting alot of weird questions or just compliments. o_o

Thanx Aimee and Veronica for helping me with the book binding thing~! You really helped! I think I'm good for now with the book binding design~ ^^!

I have to work on my illustrations for class and mount them this week. Due Monday. The drawing part I can do, just the mounting part. o_O I have to cut them super straight and exact measurements. I'm gonna ask my dad to help me cut. o_o

My poor back. ; . ; It's sore from being on the computer and carrying heavy ass books all day. ; . ; I better have fucking great legs by the end of the year. Those stairs are a cardio work out. o_O; I think the stress is getting to me. If only my bf was here to relieve me. *wink wink* XD!

I'm procrascinating. I have to stop. o_o

New Header and Icon Made a new icon~ *points to left side of entry* =D =D =D I was bored. ^^;; I felt like making another pixel face base. X3 I still need to tweak chibichu base. o_o

Oh yeah, if you noticed, I added a new header picture (tabulas). XD You see, I kind of wanted to make a new layout, but I didn't want to spend time on an entire new layout. So I just made a header. o_o I made one for my boyfriend too. X3 Go look~ ^^

O_O! I can't wait til KH2 comes out! Sora looks so cool. XD XD XD I'm curious to see the FF7 movie too. o_o I want a gameboy advance now. XD KH! KH! O_O! I HAVE to get KH for gameboy advance. o_O!

Omg, I think I can finally get Disgaea! O_O! Finally. I've been waiting so long. X_X

DISGAEA FINALLY! After a month of trying to get my hands on this game, I finally got it~! It was such a bitch to get. Everytime I went to the store, all the copies were either sold out or all reserved. o_O! so I had to reserve my own copy. X3 I bought one for my bf too, cuz it's kinda part of his birthday present. ^^

I haven't tried it out yet though. Cuz I was working on my illustration project. I got my dad to all the cutting. XD I sucked at it. My first try totally messed up. o_O!

Why do men have such big egos? XD My dad was like that the whole time while he was cutting. ^^;; But I have to admit, guys with big egos are hilarious and fun to be with. *looks @ her bf* XD Guys with no ego are so... depressing. o_o I used to have a bunch of guy friends who were so.. eugh. They would whine everyday why they don't have a gf, how they're such a loser, how no one wants them. X_x I swear they're just trying to fish out as many comments as they can. I hate it when guys try pulling that shit on you. Especially after they've confessed they like you. X_x It's dumb. And such a turn off. o_O!

Anyway, I'm gonna go play D2 with hunny. XD Me and him are still slayers and close to lvl 70. XD D3 may come out soon and were stiff trying to beat d2. ^^; It'll probably take us another year to finish. X3 We were all into finding SOJs before, and when couldve gotten our hands on one, they weren't in demand anymore. Were so slow. XD
